2. Provision of the website

The website is provided under the IONOS Webhosting Pro plan at IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, on servers in Germany. IONOS processes technically required access data for hosting operations.

This includes the previously visited page (referrer), the requested page or file, browser type and version, operating system, device type, access time, and the IP address. According to IONOS, visitor data is anonymized directly upon collection; the anonymized IP address is used for location determination. IONOS states that visitor data is stored for eight weeks and is not transferred to third countries.

The purpose is the secure and stable provision of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in secure operation. Further information: IONOS: Data processing through web hosting.

3. IONOS WebAnalytics

We use IONOS WebAnalytics for statistical evaluation and technical optimization of our web offer. According to IONOS, log files or pixels are used for this purpose, but no cookies. The IP address transmitted during page retrieval is immediately anonymized and evaluated without personal reference.

We base the processing for operation and technical optimization on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Google Ads is used only after your separate consent as described below. Further information: IONOS: Data Processing through Web Analytics.

4. Contact and Inquiry Form

When making an inquiry, we process the company, contact person, email address, and the content you provide. The number of vehicles, number of intended app users, and message are optional. The required contact details are used for allocation and response; without them, processing via the form is not possible.

The inquiry form transmits your information encrypted to the website server. From there, an email is generated to info@eis-reichert.com. The website and business mailboxes are operated by IONOS. Your inquiry is not stored in an additional website database. Alternatively, you can contact us directly by email.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as it concerns pre-contractual measures with you. Other inquiries, in particular from contacts of a company, are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in business communication according to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

To protect the form from automated misuse, a value derived from the IP address with a secret key is stored for a maximum of one hour. The original IP address is not stored for this purpose. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our interest lies in protecting the shipping service. No cookies are used for this purpose.

5. Public Store Demo "Vehicle Handover Demo"

We provide a public demo app with which the process of a digital vehicle handover can be tried out. The demo does not require a user account and is not intended for real vehicle handovers. Customer, personal, and vehicle master data are predefined and entirely fictitious. However, within an example handover, your own damage photos can be taken or selected, and two signatures can be freely drawn. These contents are processed together with the fictitious sample data in a sample PDF. The signatures are not biometrically evaluated. No email sending takes place. Please use only test content and do not photograph any persons, documents, or other personal information.

During use, technically necessary connection, device, usage, and log data can be processed, such as IP address, device or installation identifier, approximate location derived from the connection, device type, operating system, app version, time, app interactions, as well as performance, error, crash, and synchronization information. In addition, the selected demo process, the predefined sample values, self-added damage photos and signatures, as well as the resulting sample PDF are processed. The purpose is the provision, synchronization, and protection of the demo, error analysis, as well as the creation and display of the sample PDF.

The app is provided with Google AppSheet. The connected table data and generated files are located in Google Sheets or Google Drive in the account of E.I.S-Reichert GmbH. AppSheet mediates the synchronization between the app and the data source and can temporarily process data for provision and technical logging. The transfer between the app, AppSheet, and Google services is encrypted via HTTPS. On supported devices, locally cached app data is encrypted; contents are treated as sensitive in the AppSheet audit logs.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to offer interested parties a secure, realistic, and data-efficient functional demo, to identify errors, and to prevent misuse. The store demo contains no advertising, no proprietary marketing tracking, and no automated decision-making or profiling by us.

Processes and sample PDFs generated by the demo are regularly cleaned up and deleted no later than 30 days after their creation, unless temporary further storage is required for troubleshooting or misuse investigation. Technical log data is only stored within the periods necessary for operation and security of the respective service. Earlier deletion can be requested at datenschutz@eis-reichert.com .

6. Native App "Vehicle Handover Local Pro"

The native app "Vehicle Handover Local Pro" for Android and iOS can be used without a user account. It is intended to record vehicle handovers, store them locally, and document them as a PDF. Specifically, license plates, manufacturer and model, vehicle identification number (VIN), mileage and fuel or charge level, date, time and location, information about the handing over and receiving persons, vehicle condition, documents and accessories, remarks, damage information, photos, and freely drawn signatures can be processed. Signatures are not analyzed biometrically. Text recognition of a photographed VIN takes place on the device.

These handover data are not transmitted by the app to E.I.S-Reichert GmbH, a vehicle data backend, RevenueCat, Apple, or Google. They are stored exclusively in the local app area of the device. Structured handover data are stored in a database encrypted with SQLCipher; the device-bound database key is kept in the secure key storage of the operating system. Photos are stored in the app area protected by the operating system. Unlike the database, they are not additionally encrypted by the app with SQLCipher. On Android, device backups of the app are disabled. Whether app data on iOS is included in a system backup depends on the settings and functions of Apple and the device used.

A PDF report is generated locally and stored only temporarily in the app's cache. When you use the share function, you decide yourself in the operating system's share dialog which app or person the PDF is sent to. The temporary PDF file is deleted from the app cache after the share dialog is closed. For subsequent processing by the selected recipient or third party, their privacy policy applies.

The recording and local archive can be used without purchase; a sample PDF protocol is included with each app installation. Whether this sample protocol has already been used is stored as a local, protected status on the device. For the permanent unlocking of additional PDF protocols, the app offers a one-time in-app purchase. To display the offer, carry out and restore the purchase, and check the unlock status, the app communicates with the respective Apple or Google app store and with RevenueCat, Inc., USA.

In this process, an anonymous app user ID generated by RevenueCat, product, store, purchase, transaction, and entitlement data, as well as technical information such as platform, app and operating system version, language, currency, timestamps, and IP address may be processed. The app does not transmit any handover data, photos, chassis numbers, signatures, names, or email addresses to RevenueCat. Apple or Google may independently process data from the store account you use according to their own terms.

The local processing for the use of the app features you have chosen and the purchase processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. The technical purchase verification, restoration of a purchased unlock, error analysis, as well as protection against misuse and unauthorized unlocking, are additionally based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the safe and reliable operation of the purchase model. RevenueCat processes data in the USA. According to the provider, international transfers are secured by appropriate safeguards, in particular EU standard contractual clauses.

Locally stored submissions and the associated photos remain on the device until you delete the respective process in the app or remove the app including its data. The storage duration of purchase and transaction data is determined by legal obligations and the privacy policies of Apple, Google, and RevenueCat. Privacy inquiries regarding the app can be directed to datenschutz@eis-reichert.com . Further information can be found in the privacy notices of RevenueCat, Apple and Google.

The voluntary link for personalizing the app opens our website in the browser. From the moment it is accessed, the aforementioned notices regarding provision, statistics, and – only with your consent there – advertising measurement apply to this website.

6a. Native App "Material Handover Local Pro"

The Material app stores handovers, company, person, and equipment lists, photos, as well as signatures locally on the device. PDFs are generated locally and only shared via the share menu at your request. Apple or Google and RevenueCat process technical purchase data to enable and restore PDF Export Pro; the handover content is not automatically transmitted to these services.

You can find the full information about the responsible party, types of data, purposes, legal bases, purchase management, transfers to third countries, storage periods, and your rights here: Privacy Policy Material Handover Local Pro · English privacy notice. Data protection and deletion requests: datenschutz@eis-reichert.com.

6b. Voluntary success measurement in the Android apps

Android apps "Vehicle Handover Local Pro" and "Material Handover Local Pro": The updated Android versions offer voluntary success measurement with Google Analytics for Firebase and Google Ads. It is initially turned off and is only activated when you select "Allow Measurement" in the app. "Continue Without Measurement" enables the same local app functions. This addition does not describe any already published iOS measurement.

Data and purposes

After your consent, first launches, sessions, usage duration, technical app usage events, and in-app purchase events reported by the store are evaluated. In particular, a pseudonymous app instance ID, if applicable the Android advertising ID and ad attribution IDs, app and operating system version, device information, language, timestamps, as well as product ID, price, currency, and purchase status are processed. From the network connection, Google can derive an approximate region; for this, the app does not retrieve a GPS location. According to its own statements, Google Analytics uses IP addresses for regional derivation and does not log or store them as individual IP addresses.

We use this data to understand app usage and technical distribution and to assess the success of our Google Ads campaigns based on first launches and purchases. The Analytics project is linked to our own Google Ads account. No personalized ads and no remarketing audiences are created based on this app measurement. The app does not send its own account or profile information to Analytics; an app login is not required.

Transfer contents remain separate from this: Logs, names and contact details from transfers, license plates, chassis numbers, material lists, PINs, photos, signatures, and free text entries are not sent to Firebase, Analytics, or Google Ads. The sharing of a PDF initiated by you remains a separate action.

Recipients, legal basis, and transmission

Service provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland; Google LLC and affiliated companies may also process technical data, especially in the USA. Connections for measurement are transport encrypted. The legal basis for voluntary measurement and ad assignment is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; for storing and reading device information that is not required, § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. Google explains its contractual guarantees for international data transfers in the Google Data Processing Terms and the Notices on Data Transfers. Further details: Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy Information.

Storage and Revocation

In the deployed analytics project, the configured retention for event data is two months and for user data 14 months. With new activity, the period for user data can start again. Aggregated standard reports can be retained longer independently of this. These periods do not apply to the separately required purchase management or the standalone store documents.

Under "Settings → Voluntary Success Measurement → Change Decision → Continue Without Measurement," you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. The app will then disable further measurement and reset the local analytics instance. Data already transmitted will not be automatically deleted on the server through this local step; the legality of previous processing remains unaffected. Your measurement decision is stored in the protected device storage so that the app takes it into account.

Deletion requests and necessary purchase management

Address information and deletion requests to datenschutz@eis-reichert.com. Please specify the app and platform as well as the type of data involved. For purchase data, order number, purchase date, and product name may be required. Please do not send passwords, full payment data, or handover protocols. Without an app account, a pseudonymous analytics instance cannot be attributed solely on the basis of your email address. We will examine the possible attribution and, if necessary, explain which evidence is required; we do not promise attribution that is technically impossible.

The communication with Google Play and RevenueCat required for displaying offers, verification, and restoring an activation remains in place regardless of voluntary performance measurement. Refusing analytics measurement does not prevent this necessary purchase management. Data deletion is not a refund or cancellation in the store. Your other rights and the contact details of the responsible party can be found in the other sections of this statement.

7. Retention period of requests

Simple requests without an order are generally deleted six months after the final completion of processing. Until then, the storage serves potential follow-up questions. If the purpose or a legal basis ceases earlier, the data will be deleted earlier.

Statutory retention obligations and any necessary storage for the enforcement or defense of legal claims remain reserved. In particular, business correspondence can also be business letters subject to a retention obligation even without an order; for this, § 257 HGB generally provides for six years from the end of the respective calendar year. In these cases, further use is limited to the respective retention purpose.

8. Media and Cookies

Videos, images, and sample PDFs are loaded from our own web server. No external video players, maps, appointment booking services, or social media plugins are embedded. Form entries are not stored in the browser. We store your choice for advertising measurement locally in the browser for 180 days; after consent, Google Ads can set cookies.

You can also use the website and the inquiry form without advertising measurement.

Google Ads: voluntary advertising measurement

With your consent, we use Google Ads conversion tracking from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This allows us to determine whether a contact inquiry was successfully received by the website server after an ad click or whether a store link to one of our apps was clicked. Store clicks are recorded separately by app and store; they do not indicate an installation or a purchase. This helps us evaluate our advertising expenditures.

The Google tag is only loaded after your consent. During this process, among other things, IP address, browser and device information, cookie and ad click identifiers, as well as the conversion event may be processed. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, or messages from the form as conversion parameters. Enhanced conversions and personalized advertising are not activated. A random, content-free identifier prevents multiple counts of the same request. For store clicks, after consent, we additionally store a random identifier per app and store in the session storage of the browser tab to avoid recording repeated clicks in the same session multiple times. The identifier does not contain any contact or form data.

The legal basis is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; for storing and accessing information on your device § 25 para. 1 TDDDG. You can revoke your consent at any time via "Privacy Settings." The lawfulness of the previous processing remains unaffected. Upon revocation, the page will be reloaded and advertising measurement for further page views will be deactivated; Google Ads cookies accessible on our domain will be removed.

Google may also process data in the USA. Information about recipients, international data transfers, storage periods, and cookies can be found in Google's Privacy Policy, the Advertising Notices and the Cookie Notices. We save your decision for 180 days in the local browser storage, unless you delete it earlier. This storage serves to respect your selection.

9. External Links

The links and QR codes to the Apple App Store and Google Play contain general campaign identifiers. These distinguish website links and QR code calls but do not contain individual user identifiers. With consent, the general campaign identifier from our Google Ads campaign may be used instead when visiting. When visiting the stores, their privacy notices apply. The stores may evaluate associated downloads and purchases according to their own measurement and privacy rules. Such store reports are to be distinguished from Google Ads measurement on this website.

By clicking the link to the eBay shop, you leave this website. From that point on, the operator of the target page processes data according to its own privacy policies.

10. Your Rights

Under the legal conditions, you have rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability. If processing is based on consent, you may revoke it at any time for the future. To exercise your rights, contact datenschutz@eis-reichert.com.

Objection: In the case of processing according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, you may object for reasons related to your particular situation. We will then not continue processing unless there are overriding compelling legitimate reasons or reasons for legal prosecution. You may object to direct advertising at any time.

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular with the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place through us.
