This notice applies to Materialübergabe Local Pro on Android, iPhone and iPad. The website privacy notice also applies when you visit our website. For business use, the organisation using the app determines the purpose, contents, recipients and retention of its handover records. We do not automatically receive those records and cannot remotely view or delete them.

2. Local records and lists

The app stores companies, locations, people and email addresses, issue and return details, equipment, accessories, phone numbers, optional PINs, notes and drawn signatures in a local SQLCipher database. Its device-bound key is held in the operating system's secure key storage. Photos are stored in the private app directory. Photos and PDFs are not additionally encrypted with SQLCipher.

The app does not automatically upload handover contents to E.I.S-Reichert, RevenueCat or an app-operated cloud service. It does not access your system address book. People and equipment lists are maintained within the app. No app-operated cloud synchronisation is provided.

3. Photos and signatures

You may optionally use the camera or photo picker to attach photos. The operating system controls the related permissions; photos are not required. The app does not request microphone permission. Signatures are stored as drawn strokes and are not analysed for biometric identification or automated authenticity verification.

4. PDFs and sharing

PDFs are created on your device and placed in the private app cache. Share PDF opens the operating system's share sheet. You choose the destination app and initiate any onward sharing. Email addresses written in the report do not trigger automatic emails.

The PDF contains the entered information, including optional photos, signatures and any entered PINs. The chosen destination app or recipient processes it under its own terms. Deleting a handover in this app does not remove copies you have already shared or saved elsewhere.

5. Free PDF, purchase and entitlement

Use of the free trial PDF is recorded locally in protected operating-system storage. Further PDFs require a permanent PDF Export Pro unlock purchased through the relevant store. The app does not collect card or bank login details; Apple or Google handles payment.

We use RevenueCat, Inc., 1032 E Brandon Blvd #3003, Brandon, FL 33511, USA to display the offer, validate and restore purchases and manage entitlement. Purchase services may connect when the app starts. They process a randomly generated app user identifier, product identifier, receipts or purchase tokens, transaction and entitlement status, and technical information such as platform, app/OS version, language, currency, timestamps and connection data including IP address. Purchase-related reports show purchases and restorations.

The identifier is pseudonymous and is not linked to people entered in handovers. The app does not set names, emails, equipment details, PINs, photos or signatures as RevenueCat customer attributes. Purchase management uses no advertising identifiers supplied by us. Separate optional Android campaign measurement is described below; personalized advertising is disabled.

RevenueCat processes purchase data on our behalf, including in the United States. Its Data Processing Addendum forms part of its contractual terms and provides EU Standard Contractual Clauses for relevant international transfers. It also lists subprocessors. You may request a copy of the applicable safeguards from our privacy contact. Connections to purchase services are encrypted in transit.

Apple and Google also process store/account data as independent controllers. See the privacy information from RevenueCat, Apple and Google.

6. Purposes and legal bases

Providing requested app functions, processing purchases and restoring purchased access rely on performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Technical purchase safeguards, prevention of unauthorised unlocks and purchase-related business reporting rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are reliable, viable and abuse-resistant operation; no handover contents or advertising identifiers are transmitted for these purposes.

We handle support enquiries under Article 6(1)(b) for contractual matters or Article 6(1)(f) for our legitimate interest in responding to other enquiries. Mandatory retention relies on Article 6(1)(c). An organisation using the app must determine its own legal basis for recording and sharing employee or handover information.

7. Retention and deletion

Local contents

Records remain locally until you delete them from the archive or remove the app and its data. Deleting a record removes its associated private photos and PDF cache files. Records contain snapshots: changing a list entry does not retrospectively change older reports. Copies shared elsewhere must be deleted separately in those apps or by their recipients.

Purchase and support data

Technical purchase and entitlement data is needed for as long as the permanent unlock is provided and must be restorable. We assess deletion when that purpose ends or statutory deletion rights apply, subject to mandatory retention and proof requirements. Deleting local records does not delete store purchase data.

We generally delete simple support enquiries that do not result in an order six months after final resolution, or earlier if their purpose ceases. Business records subject to statutory retention and information needed for legal claims are retained only for that purpose.

Request deletion

Email datenschutz@eis-reichert.com with the subject “Material Local Pro – privacy request”. Specify Android or iOS and the data concerned. To locate a purchase we may need the store order number, purchase date and product name. Send only necessary information, never passwords, complete payment details or handover reports.

Because there is no app account, an email address alone cannot identify anonymous app usage. If identification is not possible, we explain this and request only necessary evidence. We normally respond within one month and inform you of any lawful extension. Deleting RevenueCat data does not cancel or refund a store purchase. Restoring the purchase later may cause the store to send the data required for the unlock to RevenueCat again.

8. Device backups

The app has no database backup or import feature of its own. Android app backup is disabled. iOS backups depend on the operating system and your settings. Because the database key is device-bound, restoration on another device is not guaranteed. Uninstalling the app, losing the device or removing app data may make local contents inaccessible. Exported PDFs are independent of this.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You can withdraw consent for the future. You may object on grounds relating to your particular situation to processing based on Article 6(1)(f). Contact our privacy contact; for records managed locally by an organisation, also contact that organisation.

You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision. We do not make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you and do not perform biometric analysis of signatures.

Optional measurement in the updated Android apps

The updated Android versions of Kfz-Übergabe Local Pro and Materialübergabe Local Pro offer optional measurement using Google Analytics for Firebase and Google Ads. Collection is initially disabled and starts only after you select “Allow measurement”. You can use the same local features without consent. This section does not announce a released iOS analytics integration.

With consent, measurement covers first opens, sessions, engagement and technical app usage, plus store-reported in-app purchase events. Data includes a pseudonymous app-instance ID, potentially the Android advertising ID and advertising attribution identifiers, app and operating-system versions, device information, language, timestamps, product ID, price, currency and purchase status. Google may derive a coarse region from the network connection; the app does not request GPS location for this purpose. Google states that Analytics does not log or store individual IP addresses.

We use this data for usage analysis and to measure the first opens and purchases attributable to our Google Ads campaigns. Analytics is linked to our own Google Ads account. Personalized advertising and remarketing audiences based on this measurement are not enabled. We do not set an app account or named user profile in Analytics.

Handover records, contact details entered in records, vehicle and equipment information, PINs, photos, signatures and free-text entries are not transmitted to Firebase, Analytics or Google Ads. Sharing a PDF remains a separate action initiated by you.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. Google LLC and affiliated companies may also process technical data, including in the United States. Transmission uses encrypted connections. Optional measurement and ad attribution are based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for non-essential access to device information, section 25(1) of the German TDDDG. See Google’s data processing terms, international transfer information, Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.

The Analytics project is configured to retain event data for two months and user data for 14 months. New activity can restart the user-data retention period. Aggregated standard reports can remain available longer. Separate purchase-management and store records have their own retention requirements.

You can withdraw consent at any time under Settings → Optional campaign measurement → Change choice → Continue without measurement. This disables further collection and resets the local Analytics instance. It does not automatically delete data previously sent to Google. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Your choice is stored in the device’s protected storage to respect it.

For access or deletion requests, contact datenschutz@eis-reichert.com, specifying the app, platform and data concerned. A store order number, purchase date and product name may help identify purchase data. Do not send passwords, full payment details or handover records. Without an app account we cannot identify a pseudonymous Analytics instance from an email address alone. We assess whether identification is possible and explain any evidence needed.

Necessary Google Play and RevenueCat communication for offers, entitlement verification and purchase restoration continues independently of optional measurement. Refusing Analytics does not disable necessary purchase management. Deletion is not a store refund or cancellation. The controller’s details and your other rights remain set out elsewhere in this policy.
